Team Program(s)
Developing a FIRST progression of programs in Detroit.
Designing and 3D printing prosthetic hands for those in need.
As a part of the progression of programs, 503 has ensured that students across Michigan are preparing themselves to take on FRC.
Opening up an opportunity for students in the inner-city to pursue their STEM interest.
Allowing all students to pursue the "Sport of the Mind".
By using our relationship with the Lear Corp., 503 was able to connect teams with their local Lear plants to forge a strong sponsor relationship.
History: In 2001, 26 students from Novi High School began FIRST FRC Team 503. Those students were prepared to learn and take on the challenges of bringing together and maintaining a dedicated team. Throughout the years, we have pushed ourselves to exceed expectations - to “leap ahead”. Beginning with the Rookie All-Star award in our first year, we continue to be recognized for our accomplishments. Team 503 sees the big picture and understands that what we are doing today will transform tomorrow’s culture.
