We are an all girl robotics Team!

The RoboChicks are an all girl robotics team that have worked diligently since 2012 to share STEAM with the hope that girls are and should be at the forefront of the Tech movement using FIRST and Seaperch Robotics. We have developed a strong passion after competing in a male dominated arena of robotics to help more girls to break stereotypes in STEAM. Our goal is to share every aspect of STEAM to show that girls not only belong, but also how they can be a leader in their future. Our Team has taken on the task of sharing robotics at Outreach events showcasing girls in STEAM to over 25,000 people this year alone. This winter we will coach over 4 teams, all paid for by a grant written by our Team Captain. Our Team has won multiple awards locally and nationally in land and water robotic competitions. We were also granted funding to host a “Girls can STEAM Party”. Each girl on our team will host a STEAM party tailored to their interest and share how each girl can write their very own STEAM Party Grant!
