Team 972 was founded with a strong belief in the importance of student leadership. We operate on the notion that, “if it can be run and done by students, it will be.” This means that all aspects of our team– designing and building our robot, creating training curriculums, fundraising, and hosting outreach events– are all coordinated by students. At the core of our mission, we strive to prepare students for the real world. Regardless of what our students choose to pursue, we hope to instill FIRST values such as Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®, both of which are critical to developing a strong team in any field.
