Gra-V Robotics is a team of high school students mainly from Orange County, Florida who compete in FIRST Robotics Competition every year. The team is mentored by numerous professionals in Science, Technology, Math, and Engineering fields, and various other fields. FIRST Robotics Competition teaches students to brainstorm, design, program, build, and test a fully-functional robot within six weeks, in order to compete against other teams internationally.

The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Gra-V was founded in 2015 by Orange Technical College - Mid Florida Campus. At the very first meeting, three students showed up. Since then the team have jumped from 10 students, to 17 students, to now having over 30 students and counting. Gra-V conducts team meetings, industry presentations, & many community outreach events throughout the year, including mentoring other robotics teams and volunteering at STEM competitions. The team showcases at various major technology expos hosted throughout Central Florida each year, in order to spread the word of FIRST and STEM education.
