Frog Force is excited to partner with Detroit PAL and Quicken Loans to provide FIRST Robotics through the Detroit PAL sports model. Since 1969, Detroit PAL has been building character in hundreds of thousands of children through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs. This new collaboration will add FIRST Robotics "Sport for the Mind" to the Detroit PAL programming. Frog Force has started 10 FIRST LEGO League and 10 FIRST Tech Challenge teams to compete in a special spring off-season pilot program this year. This program provides FIRST training, support and workshops through Frog Force, administrative support through Detroit PAL, and funding/mentorship through Quicken Loans. Frog Force hopes to roll out FIRST Robotics throughout all the Detroit PAL schools in the fall for the regular competition season reaching more than 13,000 youth in every neighborhood in Detroit.
