Our LEGO Math Kits teach basic math skills to students using LEGOs and manipulatives and images on flash cards. You don't need any language skills to use or have fun with them. They were designed by one of our students who is interested in becoming an elementary school teacher, focusing on math and science. We have a .pdf that we shared on Chief Delphi that anyone can use to create and share their own kits. If you can collect used LEGOs and do a small amount of color printing, you can make LEGO math kits.

Funding: Over the years we have used donated LEGOs, purchased LEGOs at a reduced rate from LEGO Education, and received a Youth Philanthropy Project grant from the Richmond Community Foundation.

Distribution: We distribute the kits in Central Virginia, but we also look for international partners. Past partners include the Nobelity Project, WPPC Nepal Foundation, Bon Secours, and others. Our kits have gone to more than 6 countries.
